He is currently working on his first EP project, currently untitled. His debut premiere single and music video 'Trying So Hard', was released in early 2017. His music is under a new genre and style he created called 'Soul & B'. It took him 14 years to find this sound. Troy sings Gospel, Neo-Soul and R&B music. Because his sound embodies the best qualities in each of these styles, he created his own genre called 'Soul & B' to avoid being labeled by just one of these genres. Be on the lookout for this talented brother on the rise. He is out and about performing all over, letting his voice be heard and making his mark on the world. His vocal technique and vocal range is often compared to Musiq Soulchild and Donnie Hathaway. He has a story to tell and he pulls listeners right into it with him each time he performs. He is ready to take the industry by storm, so lookout at a venue near you for Mr. Troy Weekes Music
